The opportunity
You will build and support backend services that connect product requirements to secure data, authentication, integrations and operational reliability across agency and client projects.
What you will do
Design and implement Node.js and TypeScript services, APIs and background workflows.
Support PHP-based systems and integrate with established CMS or commerce platforms where required.
Model data and write reliable queries for MongoDB and relational databases.
Implement authentication, authorization, validation and secure third-party integrations.
Add focused tests, logging, failure handling and deployment documentation.
Investigate production issues and improve performance, stability and maintainability.
What you will bring
At least two years of backend or full-stack engineering experience.
Strong server-side JavaScript or TypeScript skills and practical API design experience.
Working knowledge of PHP, MongoDB, SQL, authentication and web security fundamentals.
Experience with Git, deployment workflows, logs and production debugging.
Ability to explain architectural tradeoffs in clear, practical language.
